Recitation Competition
Poems always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of the physical world.
Recitation activities help students build confidence as they learn to speak more accurately and persuasively about any piece of writing. Keeping this in mind, English Recitation Competition was organised for Nursery students. Our Oxfordians astonished everyone with their voice modulation and exceptional memorising skills. Our cute poets enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, feeling, rhyme, rhythm, and words’ music. Taking all these facts, the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired the young, vibrant poets to come forth and recite beautiful poems. The poems were judged based on presentation skill, voice and articulation, dramatic appropriateness and overall performance of the children. All the students were dressed up as characters and presented their poems with props, facial expressions and voice modulation. The primary purpose of conducting such competitions is to build self-confidence and develop oratory skills and self-expression. Kids were encouraged to select poems according to their choice.
The confidence and eagerness expressed by the tiny tots made the event a grand success.
Too good tiny tots
