We, the Oxfordians, nurture the well-being of both body and mind as part of our teaching methodology. Keeping the same in mind, a beautiful Mass P.T was organised on 3rd February 2022 by Sr.kg kids. Our tiny tots learnt that Physical fitness and good health are vital elements of a happy and fruitful life.
Physical strength is built through exercise, and being strong has tons of benefits to a growing child, such as walking long distances without getting tired and having the power to perform their daily tasks. It also promotes flexibility and stability.
Surya is the Hindu name for the sun, and Namaskar stems from words, which can be translated as “to bow to” or “to adore”. To imbibe the sun's importance in our lives, sun salutations were performed to warm up their body and focus on energy! It readies our bodies for deeper movements and more energetic activities.
Kids learnt the need to be mindful of the sun’s power.
