Yoga Session





Yoga (meaning union or yoke) is the practice of accessing and integrating all aspects of our true nature.  It develops awareness of body, mind and spirit.

By practicing yoga poses, children can learn how to exercise, develop confidence, and concentrate better.

“Yoga is beneficial to everyone and keeping this in mind, a yoga session was conducted by the Oxford Jiggly Kids teachers for Sr.kg and Jr.kg kids. They were made to do different postures like triangle, chair, dancer and tree pose. Asanas like Tadasana, Natrajasana, Tricone, Talasana and Utkatasana including pranayama and meditation were performed. It enhanced our tiny tot's physical flexibility, refined balanced, co-ordination, developed concentration, boosted self-esteem, confidence and strengthened their mind-body connection. 

Through this session students were enlightened on the benefits of yoga and were encouraged to stay active and healthy. The little ones enjoyed & had a great time.
